Rodeo Creek Gold Inc. Case Information
On February 25, 2013, Rodeo Creek Gold Inc. and certain of its affiliates (collectively, the "Debtors") filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of title 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (the "Chapter 11 Cases") in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada (the "Bankruptcy Court"). These Chapter 11 Cases have been assigned to the Honorable Chief Judge Mike K. Nakagawa. The Debtors are seeking joint administration of the cases under the main case, Rodeo Creek Gold, Inc., Case No. 13-50301. The Meeting of Creditors was held on April 8, 2013 and upon the motion of the Debtors, the Court has established May 10, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. (prevailing Pacific Time) as the deadline to file general proofs of claim, including 503(b)(9) claims, and August 26, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. (prevailing Pacific Time) as the deadline to file governmental proofs of claim.
On March 1, 2013 the Court approved the bidding procedures Order (Docket No. 67), and on March 29, the Court approved an Amended Bidding Procedures Order (Docket No. 286) in connection with the proposed sale of substantially all of the Debtor’s assets related to the operation of the Hollister gold mine and the Esmeralda Mill in Nevada. A successful bidder and back-up bidder were identified at the auction held April 23 and 24, 2013. The Sale Hearing was held on May 2 and 3, 2013. On May 3, 2013, the Court entered the Sale Order (Docket No. 475), approving the sale to the successful bidder Waterton Global Mining Company, LLC (f/k/a Waterton Nevada Holdings LLC). On May 20, 2013, the Debtors closed the sale of substantially all of their assets to Waterton Global Mining Companies, LLC.
The Debtors filed a Motion to Dismiss Chapter 11 Cases and Related Relief (Docket No. 541), which was heard on July 11, 2013. On July 12, 2013, the Court entered the Order Granting Debtors’ Motion to Dismiss Chapter 11 Case and Granting Related Relief (Docket No. 608), dismissing these cases.
