On October 18, 2009, the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, Inc. (“CDOW”) filed a voluntary petition for relief under chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the “Court”). The Court administered CDOW’s case under case number 09-13560 (CSS).

On July 28, 2011, the Court entered its Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, and Order Confirming the Second Amended Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization of Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, Inc. (as subsequently modified (the “Confirmation Order”). The Effective Date of the Plan was September 26, 2011, and on September 2, 2014, the Court entered the final decree closing CDOW’s chapter 11 case (the “Final Decree”).
